Morphe is a free, open-source patcher for Android. It modifies YouTube, YouTube Music and Reddit on your own phone, removing the ads and adding options the official apps don't have, like background play and SponsorBlock. No root needed.
What is Morphe?
Morphe is an open-source app patcher for Android. Instead of downloading someone else’s modded APK, you hand Morphe Manager the official app and it applies the patches you pick. The Manager is built on ReVanced Manager and Universal ReVanced Manager, and the official patches are based on ReVanced’s earlier work, so if you’ve used ReVanced before, most of it will look familiar.
Patching happens on your phone. Morphe doesn’t upload your APKs or personal data and doesn’t need an account, though it does go online to fetch patches and to point you to the original APK. Every patch is open source, so you can read exactly what it changes.

Requirements
Morphe is lightweight and runs on almost any modern Android phone. Here is what you need to patch and run apps smoothly.
Android Version
Morphe supports Android 8.0 (Oreo) up to Android 16. Make sure your phone is on a supported version before installing.
RAM
Patching is done on-device, so at least 2GB of RAM is recommended. 4GB or more makes patching larger apps faster.
Storage
Keep around 1GB of free storage. Morphe needs room for the original app, the patched copy, and temporary files while patching.

How to Patch an App with Morphe
Your first patch, start to finish. It takes 5 to 10 minutes, most of it spent downloading the original APK. Morphe’s own guides have screenshots of every screen.
1. Install Morphe Manager
Get the latest APK from the download page and open it. Android asks once for permission to install unknown apps; allow it for your browser or file manager.
2. Pick the App
Open Morphe and tap YouTube, YouTube Music or Reddit on the home screen. Morphe starts in Simple mode, which applies a curated set of patches with sensible defaults.
3. Download the Exact APK Version
Patches only work on specific versions, so Morphe shows the one it needs. Tap Yes, help me find an APK and it opens the right download page. Download that exact version, and don’t install it.
4. Choose Patches (Expert Mode Only)
In Simple mode there’s nothing to choose. Switch to Expert mode if you want to pick from the 100+ patches yourself, like SponsorBlock or hiding Shorts, and set their options.
5. Start Patching
Select the downloaded APK and patching starts on its own. It usually takes a few minutes. Let Morphe skip battery optimisation when it asks, so Android doesn’t stop it halfway.
6. Install the Patched App
Tap Install. Patched YouTube and YouTube Music install next to the originals and need MicroG RE to sign in. Patched Reddit replaces the original, so uninstall the Play Store Reddit first.
