How To Install and Use Morphe

Morphe is a free and open-source app patcher for Android and a continuation of ReVanced. It lets you modify apps such as YouTube, YouTube Music, and Reddit to block ads and unlock premium features — all directly on your device, with no root required. Because everything is done locally, none of your data ever leaves your phone.

Here is how to install Morphe Manager and patch your first app if you are new to Morphe:

1. First, download the Morphe Manager APK from our download page. You can choose the Stable channel for tested releases or Nightly for the newest patches.

2. Open the downloaded APK and tap Install. If your phone warns about installing from unknown sources, allow it for your browser or file manager, then continue.

3. Launch Morphe Manager. On the first run it may ask for storage permission so it can read the target app and save the patched result. Tap Allow.

4. On the patcher screen, select the app you want to patch, for example YouTube. Morphe can use the version already installed on your device, or download the correct version for you.

5. Choose the patches you want to apply. Common choices include ad blocking, background playback, SponsorBlock, and custom themes. You can keep the recommended defaults or fine-tune the list.

6. Tap Patch and wait. Morphe modifies the app’s bytecode on your device. Depending on the app and your phone, this takes from a few seconds to a couple of minutes.

7. When patching is complete, tap Install to install the modified app. If an older patched version is already installed, uninstall it first, then install the new one.

8. Open the patched app and enjoy your ad-free, feature-packed experience. Keep in mind patched apps do not update through the Play Store — whenever a new app or patch version is released, simply re-patch it with Morphe.

That is it! You have successfully installed Morphe and patched your first app. If you run into any issues or want to request a new patch, open an issue on the Morphe GitHub.
