What is Morphe CamScanner?

CamScanner, from INTSIG, turns your phone camera into a document scanner. Point it at a page or a receipt, it finds the edges, cleans up the image and saves it as a PDF or picture, with text recognition on top.

The build here was made by the community AutoBuilds pipeline with hoo-dles' morphe-patches, a third-party bundle rather than official Morphe. Two CamScanner patches went in. One shuts off CamScanner's own telemetry system. The other enables some of the features normally behind the Premium subscription, though the patch notes say server-side functions may still be missing.

Patches in This Build

Disable telemetry

Switches off CamScanner's in-house telemetry system inside the app.

Enable Premium (partial)

Opens some Premium-only tools. Not all of them: features that run on CamScanner's servers may still refuse to work.

Scanning works as before

Edge detection, cropping and PDF export are part of the normal app and aren't touched by the patches.

Universal APK

One download that fits any phone, no CPU architecture to look up.

How to Install Morphe CamScanner

  1. Export or sync any scans you want to keep, then uninstall the Play Store CamScanner. Because the signatures differ, the patched copy won't install on top.
  2. Download the Universal APK from the box above.
  3. Open it and approve the unknown-apps prompt for your browser or file manager.
  4. Install, open CamScanner and grant camera access when it asks.

CamScanner Questions

It's unofficial. The community AutoBuilds pipeline built it using hoo-dles' open-source morphe-patches; INTSIG, the Morphe team and this site didn't make it. Modified APKs always carry some risk, so only install it if you trust that pipeline.

We can't give a list. The patch description only promises some paywalled features and says certain server-side functionality may be unavailable. Anything processed on CamScanner's servers is the most likely to stay locked.

Nothing you'll notice in daily use. It blocks CamScanner's own analytics system in the app; scanning, saving and sharing work the same.

No.
