What is Morphe Crunchyroll?
Crunchyroll is Sony's anime streaming service: new episodes as simulcasts shortly after they air in Japan, a big back catalogue, and subbed and dubbed versions of many shows.
Please read this before downloading. The APK is produced by the community AutoBuilds pipeline with hoo-dles' morphe-patches, a third-party bundle. hoo-dles used to ship an Enable Premium patch for Crunchyroll but removed it, and the current patch list has nothing for the app. As far as we can tell, this build is the regular Crunchyroll app with a different signature. It does not unlock Premium, and you shouldn't expect ads to be gone either.
What This Build Is (and Isn't)
Regular Crunchyroll
Browsing, the watchlist and playback work like the Play Store app, limited to what your account tier allows.
No Premium unlock
The Crunchyroll premium patch was deleted from hoo-dles' bundle and nothing replaced it.
Ads unchanged
Free accounts still get Crunchyroll's ads. Nothing in the current bundle removes them.
Universal APK
One file for all phones.
If You Still Want to Install It
- Ask yourself whether you need this at all. If you just want Crunchyroll, the Play Store version does the same thing and updates itself.
- Still want it? Uninstall the Play Store Crunchyroll first. Android refuses to install a differently signed APK over it.
- Download the Universal APK, open it and allow installs from unknown sources when asked.
- Sign in with your Crunchyroll account.
Crunchyroll FAQ
It's an unofficial rebuild from the community AutoBuilds pipeline using hoo-dles' open-source morphe-patches, not something Crunchyroll, the Morphe developers or this site produced. Any modified APK is a risk, so only install it if you trust that source.
No. hoo-dles removed its Crunchyroll patches, and the bundle used for this build has none. Premium content is also controlled by Crunchyroll's servers, so you'll only see what your account already includes.
Not through Google Play. Newer builds, as long as AutoBuilds keeps producing them, appear on this page.
