What is Morphe Komoot?

Komoot is a route planner and navigation app for hiking, cycling, mountain biking and running. You plan a tour on the map, it tells you about surfaces and elevation, and it gives you voice directions while you're out. The bigger extras sit behind komoot Premium.

This APK was built by the community AutoBuilds pipeline using Morphe CLI and the third-party brosssh/morphe-patches bundle, not the official Morphe patches. The bundle has one Komoot patch, Unlock Premium features, applied by default. The patch author is honest about its limits: some Premium features run on komoot's servers and can't be patched, and saving a multi-day hike is the example they give.

What's patched in Komoot

Premium features in the app

The Unlock Premium features patch turns on the Premium features that are decided inside the app.

Multi-day hikes still locked

Saving a multi-day hike is checked on komoot's servers, so the patch can't help with it. Other server-side features behave the same way.

Planning and navigation as normal

Tour planning, sport types and turn-by-turn voice directions are the regular komoot features you already know.

No root needed

Install the APK like any other app. Nothing to flash.

How to Install Morphe Komoot

  1. Uninstall komoot from the Play Store first. Your tours and collections are stored in your account, so you won't lose them.
  2. Download the Universal APK above. It works on any architecture.
  3. Let your browser install unknown apps (Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps).
  4. Install the APK, open komoot and log in.

Morphe Komoot FAQ

It's an unofficial community build. The AutoBuilds pipeline patched the original komoot APK with Morphe CLI and brosssh's open-source morphe-patches bundle and re-signed it. komoot and the Morphe team weren't involved. Like any modified APK it carries some risk, so install it only if you trust that source.

No. The patch description says some features are server-side and can't be patched, and it names saving a multi-day hike as one of them.

Yes. Tours, highlights and collections are tied to your komoot account, so they show up again once you log in.

No, and it shouldn't, because a store update would replace the patched app. Download newer builds from this page.
