What is Morphe Meme Generator?
Meme Generator from ZomboDroid is the meme maker a lot of people already have on their phone. Pick a template from its big, sorted library or use your own photo, type the top and bottom text, and share. It also handles GIFs and has layouts like demotivational posters and collages. A few things are held back for the paid Pro upgrade.
This copy has been patched by the community AutoBuilds pipeline with hoo-dles' morphe-patches. That's a third-party bundle, not official Morphe. It has exactly one patch for Meme Generator, Enable Pro, which turns on the features behind the Pro paywall. No root needed.
Pro, plus the stuff you'd use anyway
Enable Pro
The only patch the bundle has for this app. It flips on the Pro-only features.
Templates or your own photos
Search the template library by category, or start from any picture in your gallery.
Captions on GIFs
Put text on animated GIFs, not just still images.
More than top/bottom text
Demotivational posters, collages and other multi-panel layouts are built in.
Getting it on your phone
- Grab the APK from the download box. It's a universal build, so any phone will do.
- If you have Meme Generator from the Play Store, uninstall it. The patched copy is signed differently and Android won't put it on top of the original.
- Let your browser or file manager install unknown apps when Android asks.
- Install, open, start making memes.
Meme Generator questions
The community AutoBuilds pipeline builds it from hoo-dles' morphe-patches, an open-source bundle that has nothing to do with the official Morphe team. This site just links to the file. Treat it like any modified APK: only install it if you trust the people involved.
Maybe, but don't count on it. The bundle doesn't have a separate ad-blocking patch for Meme Generator. All you get is Enable Pro, so whether ads go away depends on what Pro covers in the current version of the app.
Uninstalling the Play Store version can wipe the app's own data, so save anything you care about to your gallery first.
The Play Store won't touch it. Come back here when the download box shows a newer build and install it over the one you have.
