What is Morphe Niagara?

Niagara Launcher swaps the usual grid of icons for a single vertical list you can reach with one thumb. Notifications show up inline next to the app, and an alphabet strip on the edge gets you to anything else. Many of its features are Pro-only after a 7-day trial.

This build applies three patches from d0nj's community bundle morphe-patches, using Morphe CLI, through the community AutoBuilds pipeline: Pro unlocked, analytics removed, and a fix for a strange tile full of numbers on the home feed. The name is a little misleading. d0nj isn't one of the Morphe developers, and this isn't the official Morphe patch set.

The three patches

Unlock Pro

Niagara always sees a Pro entitlement, so Pro features work and the 7-day trial prompt never appears.

Remove analytics

Turns off the weekly usage report (app launches, notification metadata, survey answers), Singular attribution with your advertising ID, and Firebase Analytics.

Numbers tile fix

Sometimes a tile with hundreds of digits appears on the home feed after installing or removing apps, especially via ADB. That's a diagnostic tip from the Channels feature, and the patch stops it from showing.

Account sync isn't included

Things that depend on Niagara's servers, like account sync and paying through Stripe, aren't affected by the Pro patch.

Switching to this build

  1. If you already use Niagara from the Play Store, uninstall it. The signatures differ, so it can't be updated in place. Your home screen setup goes with it.
  2. Download the universal APK from the box above and install it. Allow unknown apps for your browser or file manager if Android asks.
  3. Press the home button and pick Niagara, or set it under Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app.
  4. Add your favourite apps to the list again.

Niagara Launcher questions

It's Niagara Launcher with three patches from d0nj's open-source morphe-patches bundle, built with Morphe CLI by the community AutoBuilds pipeline. Despite the repo name, it isn't from the Morphe developers, and it isn't from Niagara's developer either. A launcher can see your notifications, so keep that in mind. It is an unofficial, modified APK, and any modified APK carries some risk, so only install it if you trust the source.

No. The patch unlocks Pro features on the device. Account sync goes through Niagara's servers, which still see a free account.

Niagara's Channels feature can post a diagnostic tip whose text is a long string of numbers. It appears as a tile on the home feed whenever the channel list refreshes. The patch makes Niagara decline those tip requests, so the tile never shows up.
