What is Morphe Proton Mail?

Proton Mail is the end-to-end encrypted email service from Proton AG in Switzerland. Messages between Proton users are encrypted so that even Proton can't read them, and the app handles the keys for you. The free plan comes with limits on storage and addresses, and paid plans raise them.

The APK on this page was built by the community AutoBuilds pipeline with Morphe CLI and a community patch bundle, not the official Morphe patches. We couldn't confirm which bundle: the pipeline switched Proton Mail between two different community sources around the time this file was built, and neither record ties to this exact APK. So we won't list features. One thing is certain. Storage, extra addresses and other paid-plan limits are enforced by Proton's servers, so no patch can raise them.

Before you install

Your Proton account

You sign in with your normal Proton account. Mail, folders and contacts come from Proton's servers.

Patches not identified

The exact community bundle behind this APK couldn't be confirmed, so its changes aren't listed here.

Plan limits are server-side

Storage quota, custom domains and extra addresses are controlled by Proton and stay tied to your plan.

Higher stakes than usual

This app holds access to your encrypted mailbox. A modified build is a bigger trust decision than, say, a game.

Installing Proton Mail

  1. Uninstall the Play Store Proton Mail first. Your mail stays on Proton's servers, but the signature is different, so Android won't install over it.
  2. Download the Universal APK above.
  3. Allow installs from unknown sources for your browser when asked, then install.
  4. Sign in. If you use two-factor authentication, have your code ready.

Proton Mail FAQ

It's unofficial. The community AutoBuilds pipeline patched the original Proton Mail APK with Morphe CLI and a community patch bundle, then re-signed it. Proton and the Morphe team didn't make it. For an encrypted email account the risk of a modified app is higher than usual, and the official app is free, so install this only if you fully trust the source.

No. Storage, addresses and other plan limits are enforced by Proton's servers. A patched app can't change them.

Encryption happens in the app with your keys, the same way as in the official build, but you're trusting whoever built this APK not to have changed that. That's why you should only use it if you trust the source.
