What is Morphe Reddit?
This is the app Reddit publishes itself, with the official Morphe patches applied. If you miss the third-party clients that shut down after Reddit's API changes, it's about as close as you can get to a cleaner Reddit while still using the official app. The APK is put together by the community AutoBuilds pipeline; this site just points you to it.
Reddit's patch list is much shorter than YouTube's and sticks to practical things. Promoted posts are gone, the Trending and suggested-community shelves can be hidden, outbound links skip Reddit's redirect and can open in your own browser, and a few nagging dialogs get dismissed for you. It doesn't unlock Reddit Premium or anything tied to your account.

Hide the Trending shelves in the feed and in search suggestions, the related-communities shelf in subreddits, and the Ask button in the search bar.
Start as guest
Skips the login screen that Reddit forces on startup by using its own guest browsing mode, so you can read without an account.
Fewer popups
No popup every time you take a screenshot. The NSFW community warning and the notification suggestion dialog are dismissed automatically.
Your font, not Reddit Sans
Render the app in your phone's system font, or load any TTF or OTF file you have.
View counts on posts
Shows how many times a post has been viewed, a number the stock app keeps hidden.
Trimmed navigation
Hide buttons in the bottom navigation bar and items in the sidebar, and pick from the alternative Reddit app icons.
How to install Morphe Reddit
- Uninstall the Play Store Reddit first. This build keeps Reddit's normal package name but has a different signature, so Android won't put it on top of the original. Your subscriptions and saved posts are stored on Reddit's servers, so all you lose is the login.
- Download the Universal APK from the box above.
- Open it, allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps if asked, and tap Install.
- Sign in, or just browse as a guest. Then go through Reddit's settings to find the options the patches add.
Morphe Reddit FAQ
It's Reddit's own APK with the open-source MorpheApp/morphe-patches bundle applied, built by the community AutoBuilds pipeline rather than this site or the Morphe developers. The patches are public, but modified APKs always carry some risk. Install it only if you trust the source.
You still have the Play Store version installed. Both use the same package name with different signatures, so Android blocks the install. Uninstall the official Reddit app and try again.
Re-signed Reddit builds used to lose notifications. Morphe's Spoof signature patch is included to fix that, though notifications for sideloaded apps can still be unreliable on some phones with aggressive battery savers.
Yes. The Start as guest patch skips the forced login screen and drops you into Reddit's own guest mode. You can still sign in later from the app.
