What is Morphe Threads?
Threads is Meta's text-first social app, linked to your Instagram account. The patch set here is small. durgesh0505/chiggi_morphe_patches is a community bundle that covers a mix of apps and has four patches for Threads, and this build uses all of them. It's not an official Morphe bundle, and the APK is built by the community AutoBuilds pipeline.
It's mostly about ads. Sponsored posts and the suggested units Meta mixes into the feed are hidden, and the advertising ID permission is removed so the app can't read your device's ad ID. The author is clear that the ad blocking happens in the app only and that Meta's core analytics keep running. The other two patches rename the package and the app label so it can sit next to the regular Threads.

Sponsored posts hidden
Sponsored posts and injected suggested units are dropped from the feed. It's done on your phone, so Meta still serves the ads; you just don't see them.
No advertising ID
Removes the AD_ID permission so Threads can't read your device's advertising ID for ad tracking. Other analytics are unaffected.
Runs beside the official app
A different package name means you can keep the Play Store Threads installed and use both.
Its own name on the home screen
The app label is changed so you can tell the patched copy from the original in your launcher.
Installing Morphe Threads
- Download the Universal APK from the box above.
- Install it, allowing unknown apps for your browser or file manager when asked. There's no need to remove the official Threads, since this one has its own package name.
- Log in. If one-tap login through Instagram or Facebook doesn't work, use your username and password instead.
The package rename has known side effects. The patch author warns that Meta apps hardcode a lot of internal references, so single sign-on, content sharing between Meta apps or push notifications may not work properly.
Morphe Threads questions
It's the Threads APK with durgesh0505's open-source chiggi_morphe_patches bundle applied, built by the community AutoBuilds pipeline and not by this site or the Morphe developers. There's always some risk with a modified app, so only install it if you trust the source.
