What is Morphe Trakt?
Trakt keeps track of the shows and films you watch. It scrobbles from media players, keeps your history and watchlist in one place, and suggests what to watch next. The free app works fine but keeps reminding you about Trakt VIP.
This build only deals with that reminder. It was patched by the community AutoBuilds pipeline using Morphe CLI and PixelPusher247/morphe-patches, a third-party bundle and not the official Morphe patches. The bundle has one patch, Hide VIP banner, which takes the Upgrade to VIP upsell off the home screen. That is the whole change. VIP-only features aren't unlocked, and the rest of the app is the normal Trakt client.
Inside this Trakt build
No VIP banner
The Upgrade to VIP card no longer sits on top of your home screen.
Stock Trakt otherwise
History, watchlist, check-ins and recommendations work exactly as in the Play Store version.
VIP stays VIP
Paid features aren't touched. If you want them, you still need a real VIP subscription.
Your account, unchanged
You sign in with your normal Trakt account, and everything syncs to it.
Getting it on your phone
- Uninstall the official Trakt app if you have it. Your history is on Trakt's servers, so you won't lose it.
- Grab the Universal APK from the download box. It's the only build and fits any device.
- Open it and allow your browser to install apps when Android prompts you.
- Launch Trakt and sign in.
Trakt questions
It's an unofficial build. The community AutoBuilds pipeline patched the original Trakt APK with Morphe CLI and PixelPusher247's open-source morphe-patches bundle and re-signed it. Trakt and the Morphe team aren't involved. Modified APKs carry some risk, so install it only if you trust the source.
No. The only patch hides the Upgrade to VIP banner on the home screen. Everything VIP-only stays locked.
Yes. The patch doesn't touch login or syncing. Sign in with your Trakt account and your history, lists and check-ins are all there.
