What is Morphe Xodo?

Xodo is a PDF app for reading, marking up and signing documents. It started out at PDFTron (now Apryse) and is run today by Xodo Technologies. You can highlight and comment, fill in forms, add a signature and reorganise pages, and some of the heavier tools are part of Xodo Pro.

The APK here has one extra patch, Enable Pro, from hoo-dles/morphe-patches, a community bundle maintained by hoo-dles. It targets the features behind Xodo's subscription paywall. The community AutoBuilds pipeline builds it with the Morphe CLI. That makes it an unofficial build that Xodo and the Morphe team have nothing to do with.

Xodo build overview

Enable Pro

The bundle's only Xodo patch. It switches on the Pro features the app checks on your phone.

Same PDF tools

Reading, annotating, form filling and signing work like the official app. The patch doesn't change how files are saved.

Online services are separate

Anything Xodo runs on its own servers, or ties to a paid account, may still be limited.

Universal APK

One APK that installs on any architecture.

How to install Xodo

  1. Uninstall Xodo from the Play Store first. Android won't install a differently signed copy on top of it.
  2. Download the APK from the box above.
  3. Allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps, then install it.
  4. Open Xodo and give it access to your files so it can find your PDFs.

Xodo FAQ

It's built from hoo-dles' open-source morphe-patches bundle by the community AutoBuilds pipeline. It's not an official Xodo or Morphe release, and modified APKs carry some risk. Only install it if you trust that source.

Annotations saved into a PDF on your storage stay in that file. Recent-file lists and settings inside the app are removed when you uninstall it.

No. It only affects the checks inside the app on your phone. Your account doesn't change.
