Install trouble? Fix "App not installed" · Which APK do I need?
Most of what bugs people about YouTube on Android is the same short list: an ad before nearly every video, Premium banners, a Shorts shelf in the middle of the home feed, and audio that cuts out the moment you switch apps. This is the regular YouTube app with the official Morphe patches (MorpheApp/morphe-patches) already applied, so you get those fixes without running Morphe Manager yourself.
The APK is built by the community AutoBuilds pipeline. Neither the Morphe developers nor this site build it; we link to the file and refresh that link several times a day. The build uses Morphe's default patch selection for YouTube, which is nearly the whole list. Almost every patch adds a switch instead of forcing a change, so the first thing to do after installing is open YouTube's settings, find the Morphe section and go through it.
The Hide ads patch covers video ads, feed ads and Premium promotions. If there's a creator you want to support, Channel whitelist lets ads back in on that channel only.
Audio keeps going with the screen off or when you leave the app, kids videos included. A picture-in-picture button can also be added to the player.
Skips sponsor reads and other segments marked by the SponsorBlock community. You decide which kinds get skipped automatically and which just show up on the seekbar.
Return YouTube Dislike shows an estimated dislike count again. DeArrow can replace clickbait titles and thumbnails, and Restore original titles stops YouTube from auto-translating them.
Hide the Shorts shelf in feeds, drop the Shorts button from the bottom bar, or open Shorts in the normal player where you can seek and change speed.
Set a default video quality and playback speed, add swipe controls for volume and brightness, put a loop button in the player, and get rid of the Continue watching? pause.
The download button can hand a video to an external downloader you have installed. The patch doesn't save files itself, so you'll need such an app.
Hide end screen cards, info cards, related videos or single buttons under the player. Shared links also lose their tracking parameters.
The GmsCore patch also gives the app its own package name, so it installs next to the stock YouTube instead of replacing it. If Android still refuses, you most likely have an older patched YouTube signed with a different key; uninstall that one and try again. Many people disable the stock YouTube app afterwards so links open in the patched one.
